Tinnitus and Your Diet

Diet, Vitamins and Nutritional Supplements can help with Tinnitus pain

Researchers have suggested that there is a significant connection between tinnitus and the food you eat. It is known that various ear sounds can be symptoms of high blood pressure and these conditions are usually the result of a poor diet. Your body needs a lot of animal protein like red meat but refined sugars and fours as well as other processed foods will constrict the arteries, limit your bloodflow and stress your body.

Its recommended that you try to eat lots and lots of vegetables and juices and concentrate on foods which will lower your blood pressure and dilate the tiny blood vessels in your body allowing much better circulation.

You should dramatically reduce your intake of saturated fats, vegetable shortening and margarine as this can create a significant improvement in your hearing. Also stay clear of things like refined sugar as this increases tinnitus by stimulating an adrenalin release that will cause vasoconstriction in your inner ear.

Diets for Tinnitus

You should increase magnesium and potassium in your diet as these are excellent sources of nutrients. These include foods like apples, apricots, baked potatoes, bananas, beets, leafy greens, and nuts and you should also take multivitamin supplements daily.

In some people food allergies can cause tinnitus so its a good idea to experiment with your diet to see if you have allergic reactions. For example in some people caffeine or other stimulants, too much sugar or salt or even the quinine in tonic water can cause a ringing in your ear noise.

Vitamin B

Taking B vitamins such as B12, B6 and B5 can often assist with relief of tinnitus and you should try and take 50 milligrams of B6 2-3 times a day as this may help stabilize your inner-ear fluids.

These vitamins can be found in whole grain products, bananas, apples, most fruits and vegetables, eggs, and various dairy products.

There has been a lot of research which shows that a lot of people with tinnitus are deficient in their vitamin B-12 levels. Interstingly this Vitamin B12 deficiency has been found to be present in people who have been exposed to loud noise and developed tinnitus.

Nutritionists have recommended a daily dose of B12 vitamins. Vitamin B-12 is usually found in dairy products, yeast, oysters, various fish, eggs, milk and milk products, fish, poultry and lamb.

Vitamin A

A Vitamin A deficiency has been known to cause inner-ear problems like ear ringing so its important you consider Vitamin A as this vitamin helps keep the membranes in the ear healthy.

Other excellent sources of vitamin A are fish, leafy vegetables, black and blueberries, yellow vegetables, and fruits like carrots, yams, oranges, apricots and cantaloupe.

Vitamin E

The Vitamin E is known to increase the supply of oxygen to the blood cells. Vitamin E can be located in whole grain products, green leafy vegetables, dried beans, fish, and eggs.

Choline

The Choline vitamin has been known to help remove ear noises in a very short time especially for people with high blood pressure.

Zinc

Many studies have shown that large doses of zinc sulfate can reduce ringing in ear sounds experienced by older people and zinc supplements have been used to assist patients who have had both tinnitus and age-related hearing loss (usually ).

You should not take more than 75 milligrams daily without medical supervision. Foods which are rich in zinc include fish, oysters, whole-grain cereals, beans, nuts and eggs.

Nutritional Supplements

Recommended Daily Dosages:

Vitamin B12 1 mg a day
Zinc - 30 mg with 2 mg of copper
Vitamin B complex 50 mg 2 x a day
Vitamin E, with mixed tocopherols, 300 IU

Paul Tobey's powerful tinnitus healing methods.

This is my number one recommendation for healing tinnitus. It's very similar to how I personally have found ways to deal with my extreme tinnitus but Paul has gone one steps further and put it into a package you can use right now to help you.

Paul's two tinnitus relief programs for example will absolutely change forever the way you deal with your Tinnitus. Remember I know about treatments as I've been researching them for almost 14 years since I got the extremely loud ringing in my ears in an explosion in Asia and his eBook and audio seminar have done wonders giving me relief and healing just over the last few months.

His original healing product is called "A Practical Guide to Tinnitus Free Living". This is an eBook and audio recording in which he shares some practical and truly enlightening information on how to live a 100% Tinnitus-Free Life.

Tinnitus cures and reduce ringing in ears I highly recommend his easy to use methods. Paul is a Canadian concert pianist, composer, entertainer, motivational speaker and former tinnitus sufferer himself.

I was almost in tears of joy when I finished reading his book the 1st time because I just wished I had this information so many years, anxious days and sleepless nights ago.

I spoke for a few hours with Paul on Skype in early March 2008 to understand more about his methods and he really does have a great system with some very easy to use ways to get rid of your tinnitus or at least make it A LOT easier to deal with. He's an extremely inspirational and personable guy.

One thing that really stuck out in my conversation with Paul was his philosophy of focusing on what you want spiritually, mentally and emotionally and how the physical changes will follow. This is a guy who's just walked over 800 kilometres on a trek through Spain over 60 days. Paul filmed about 60 hours of footage along the Camino de Santiago for one of his documentary projects. This was a journey of personal development for Paul and when you read his eBook you will see the sheer simplicity and beauty of Paul's methods of dealing with Tinnitus.
